Picking The Picture

Ok... Maybe I am quite demanding... the husband said the pictures are OK and yes they do not persuade or suggest you to get additional photos... but I just felt that the photos are not that nice... Hubby said perhaps it would meet my demands if we pay a 5 figure instead of only 3.6k with a make up artist following us around to touch up and change hair styles and clothing for us...

But well.. overall not that impressive but OK and no there wouldn't be any repeats... :)

It was nothing like what other people said everything is nice.... and that I will like it all... and that it is very hard to decide... and bla bla bla... nothing at all... as any pictures where I looked fat... i straight dun wannnn.... hahhaha or any pictures where we did not smile properly... dun wan..... any pictures with angle i dun like dun wannnnn.... yea... :D i think the SA also gonna faint.. :D

ROM : Registration of Marriage

And now I am legally a wife to him..... Mrs Loh
Woke up like real early cause we have to prepare to go to Tian Hou Temple.
Then had breakfast and I had gastric the night before ... interesting
Then check on the items below to ensure that you have them all
1. Wedding bands
2. Girl in dress
3. Boy in formal shirt with neck tie
4. Witnesses in formal attire
5. Flower
6. Others are allowed to come along. Normally they are ok if you do not have kids around

So it was quite a tiring one as after registration we had pictures here and there. Then next is the lunch appointment... then relatives view your pictures...

Cause we do not have a fan in the master bedroom so we got a new fan as the stand fan is not working the magic out... spent the afternoon installing the ceiling fan

then next dinner with the parents and inlaw...

then i am back really tired and sleepy and it was really late as everyone was happy and of course made some fun out of us...

Bridal PS

This is tricky. one day outdoor and my gowns are not fitting already.

OK.... For ladies... bring a nu bra and wear a skin color underwear... sleep early dun drink water after 8pm... and sleep early so that they dun have to puff in too much of powder and concealer under to cover your eye bag.. but... if it is already there i dun really know how the one night is gonna help.... maybe it does.. but i was so nervous... so i can't sleep properly... which is a mistake..

for the men.. they are to shaved and trim their hair and wear a white color underwear... Required to bring along a pair of black and white socks... oh yea and jeans too and watever t-shirts they need

Next thing wake up early... take your breakfast and bring along some bread and food... they dun eat nor chew during work time... so yea..

We were asked to run and jumped... and I can't do it.. hahhahha... and I think i sort of pisses off the photographer... i duno but both of us think that he holds a temper... not something that we really prefer... well who does? while him... i think he did well.. coz the photographer did not comment much on his post... ok... so as far as i am concern he got a very photogenic face and already look good on regular shots but not me.. if the photos do not turn out good.. then = =""

By the time when I changed to the second gown.... I can feel that my hair is gonna be very stiff as she unlock my hair curls and restayle them again... ok never been to a studio to take such potraits before.. unless convocation photo does but they dun really make up or do your hair for you...

then by the time I was changing into the 4th gown...that is when i really feel that my hair is as stiff as the branch.. i touched it and the stylist said it is already harden ... so dun bother touching it.. = ="" hahahha but avthing was ok after i washed it...

ok the tip here is wash your hair with conditioner leave it on for a few minutes before you rinse off or add shampoo to properly wash it... then follow by deep conditioning or watever serum you want... do the deep conditioning and serum thingy last... i only did deep conditioning..

2 More Weeks

2 more weeks would be the official date to sign off myself. By then I would be bidding bye bye to sweet single. And yet I am so excited

I am So Happy

Stepping on the new tiles in my home
The black tiles has gold dust that glitters when it is night time
The gray tiles are whiter in the day and brownish in the dawn
I can't wait to have the handles installed
I can't wait to stare at the newly painted home
Its gonna be our home

Eating Ice Kacang

It is shaved ice with peanuts and jelly and sweet syrup poured over the shaved ice.
Perfect during the hot sunny day...
I ordered mine today and in the attempt to enjoy it under the sweet sweat, it suddenly rained heavily
And i was eating the shaved ice shivering like a wet chicken
But it feels great when I am home feeling cold all over

A Farewell

I Saw A Dress

I saw a Dress in Mango and I was tempted to bring it back home.

But I left it there.
I was thinking of wearing it for my photoshot and then for my ROM as well.
But the dress was 999 ringgit and is it worth it?
The color was soft peach with a little pink. Very sweat color
I left it there and went home.

And now it is mingling in my mind.

Career

If I can't get a job with a reasonably good offer now. It simply means that the things I am doing now has no market value outside and I should really looking for a job.

But what if I got something really good? Then I guess it is time to move on as well.

Chinese Wedding Preparations

This can be said as either complicated or interesting.

And it is definitely going to be tired. So far can see that the parents are preparing betrothal for the betrothal session already.

And for myself I think i am starting to get nervous and all both due to work and preparations for the coming photo session, gown fittings and yes!! lots of shopping. Am sure nothing can be more enjoyable than that.

Pre-Wedding

The bridalshop called me for appointment and I do not know how to response. Reason being I need the groom to be available as pre-wedding shots with only the bride in it would be too interesting...

What should I prepare for pre-wedding photo shot?

I took leave this Friday because

1. There is a clearance sales in Isetan
2. Its my birthday this weekend (its not an excuse to go shopping)
3. I need to get myself skincare (the last time i got my skincare refill was during business trip to SGP in the airport - Ok I only got myself a toner)
4. I need errrmmmm... to buy myself a foundation from Anna Sui. Every 100 bucks spent you get a 10 bucks coupon which means you have 10% discount there....
5. The sales is worth it
6. I have to go to the sales
7. I need to get a pair of sneakers for myself and him for our pre-wedding
8. I need to get my ROM dress
9. I need to get a good pair of ROM shoes, pre-wedding shot shoes and AD shoes
10. I errr only bought one qi pao and jeans during CNY and I did not buy any new clothes

Ok. I ran out of excuses but I am still going.

Restaurant Hunting for the Banquet

Ok... Now this is the tricky part..... I can't get a restaurant for the banquet....

So what now... its not his fault fat-he said that we can't get a restaurant

Oh well it is not my fault too fat-me said

So I am like 10 months earlier and I still can't get a restaurant

I thinks that the garter removing tradition is rather fun when it is a total no-no in Chinese family

English

English is a language which is widely understood. Counting countries which value their mother tongue a lot with names like France, Japan, China and some others other countries has recognized English as an important language and had a very important status in education and business.

Does the preference of speaking the mother tongue implies that English is weaker or it is just the cultural value is stronger? Culture itself has brought in a very heavy influence and is something not easily changed overnight. You can't teach a person to speak in perfect English with perfect grammar in just a week not to mention a single day.

After 14 days

After 14 days away from work it feels different to be at work again....

It is February now but to me it is still only the beginning of year 2011.... Hence i guess it is not too late to have my new year resolutions now.... making it happen is what matters the most...

At this age... i must learn to appreciate the things that I have in hand... Not meeting up targets does not mean that I am not competent at times... maybe it is just not time yet... it is a very subjective matter of discussion and it would always be happier to look at the brighter side

I kept having a mingling mind... not sure if my soul is the same but if i can learn to appreciate I believe they will settle down with peace in mind.... Having dreams and ambitions are not wrong... trying and working hard to make them come true is good effort... but in this world nothing comes exactly they way you wish it were... but learning to accept and making things better than what you have counts the most...

I was told that I am a very soft person and it is just a polite way of saying that I am not able to stand up or to speak up what I think is right... Not speaking does not mean that I am not competent nor that I do not have the ability... but learning to speak is just making others understand you in the way they could... it is learning to live with the culture that you are in... to work in the way that is desired for survival.... you may not agree with it but it is not wrong to understand how things worked.... It is important to learn to speak in the language understand by others

There are a lot of dirty people who sometimes you feel that they are so unethical... this is just the way they do things... I am not going to marry them nor are they going to be my in law torturing me for the rest of my life.. there is no reason for me to judge... but if i were to insist on judging in this manner... it does not means that no matter where i go i will not judge... therefore the next resolution i need is to judge myself instead and to do well instead of getting heart sake of other's people's pain... it will just proof how successful they are in injecting their influence in you....

It is more about being a successful living being in the environment
