English is a language which is widely understood. Counting countries which value their mother tongue a lot with names like France, Japan, China and some others other countries has recognized English as an important language and had a very important status in education and business.
Does the preference of speaking the mother tongue implies that English is weaker or it is just the cultural value is stronger?
